Shown are some examples of incorrect usage. The signature, color palette and typeface are the primary elements of the brand identity. To maximize the opportunity for visual recall, they must be applied consistently as specified in the brand guidelines.

All examples apply to both UC Irvine and UCI Health logos.

Only use primary colors as specified in the brand.

Do not skew or distort the signature. Only scale artwork proportionally.

Do not alter the signature with a different typeface.

Do not add design elements to the signature.

Do not create a signature using more than one color.

Do not place the signature on a background that may compromise legibility.

Do not alter the relationship of the signature elements.

Do not alter the configuration of the signature.

Do not place a light signature on a white background.
